Warranty Information

Buenvivir S.A. de C.V. Limited Warranties.

The following limited warranties are granted exclusively to the end customer and are subject to the terms and conditions described below. These warranties are non-transferable.

General Coverage Buenvivir S.A. de C.V. (hereinafter, "Ashley") guarantees that the products and components specified in the following table will be free from material manufacturing defects for the period indicated for each case. This warranty applies to normal residential use of the products. It does not extend to commercial, institutional, or rental uses.

  • Prorated coverage: 80% in the second year, 50% in the third.
    **Natural wear and tear due to use is not considered a defect.
    *** Does not cover wear and tear due to friction, stains, tears, or damage from excessive soiling.
    **** Includes tables, beds, dressers, display cases, desks, lamps, and unspecified electrical components.
  • Electrical components are not covered under warranty.


General Limitations: Ashley agrees, at its sole discretion, to repair or replace any defective part during the warranty period. No refunds or cash reimbursements will be issued. If original materials are unavailable, substitutes of equal or better quality will be used, and the color or finish may vary.
For the first six months, Ashley will cover the cost of assembly and shipping between the retailer and Ashley. After that, these costs will be the customer's responsibility. Transportation between the customer's home and the point of sale is not covered.

Specific exceptions

  • The warranty does not cover products purchased secondhand, on clearance, on display, or "as is."
  • It is void if the product is moved from the original delivery location.
  • It does not cover damage caused by abuse, misuse, moisture, improper cleaning, use of unauthorized chemicals, or sun exposure.
  • Any unauthorized modifications invalidate the warranty.

*The warranty duration varies depending on the mattress type (memory foam, spring, children's, etc.). For mattresses with a 10-year warranty, coverage will be prorated starting in the second year according to the following table:

Note: This prorated coverage applies only to the value of the product. The customer will be responsible for shipping, installation, and other related costs starting in the second year of use.

 

Limitations for mattresses and box springs

  • Body impressions smaller than 1.9 cm on memory foam mattresses and 3.8 cm on innerspring mattresses are not considered defects.
  • Stains, moisture, burns, excessive dirt, or improper frame use are not covered.
  • A frame with center support must be used for queen and king sizes.

 

Mattress Care Instructions

  • Allow the mattress to air out when unpacking.
  • Use a waterproof, breathable mattress protector.
  • Do not smoke or expose to open flames.
  • Do not allow jumping or misuse.
  • Do not use dry cleaning fluids.
  • Do not remove the warranty label.

 

Claims Process Contact the retailer where you made the purchase. You must present:

  • Original purchase invoice
  • Serial number
  • Photographs of the product and label

Legal Notice: Ashley makes no express or implied warranties beyond those set forth in this document. No changes or extensions will be accepted by distributors or third parties. Extended warranties offered by third parties are not the responsibility of Ashley.

In no event shall Ashley be liable for incidental or consequential damages, loss of use, or personal property. Ashley's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
These warranties may not apply if local laws restrict such limitations.
